Swimming take 1

Last Thursday I took the kiddos to their Grandma's for our first attempt at swimming this year. It was chilly, but we still had fun.

No she isnt pulling up, but she has learned to stand all by herself. Isn't she cute?

Furniture!

We just purchased bedroom furniture. Im excited to have it.

We went to the zoo on Wednesday with Mom's club

Cade, Hailey, and I went to the zoo on Wednesday with Mom's Club. We had a good time. Cade really enjoyed being with all the other children. Hailey was a great sport too and we stayed for a lot longer than I expected too. Here are just a few of the pictures we took.

Easter Weekend

We had a very busy, but fun weekend.
Jesse's Aunt and Grandma came down from Kansas to visit Friday. It was great to see them. Jesse's Grandma makes a quilt for each great grandbaby and she brought Hailey's with her. I was delighted, it is simply beautiful. (You have probably seen the ones she made for Cade and Genicey hanging in their rooms.) We went to Jess's bro's Sat afternoon and the kids found Easter eggs. We then had everyone over to our house for dinner and some Wii time. We had a blast.
Sunday morning the kids got up to find Easter baskets and were ecstatic. Genicey's was filled with "pop star" type items and Cade's was of course filled with car stuff. We then went to church with my parents and had a great service. (Thank you Jesus, how humbled I am by your love.) After we headed to my parents' house for a WONDERFUL early supper and another Easter egg hunt. By this time the weather had changed to beautiful weather and so we ALL headed out doors to play. We played basketball, drew pictures with chalk, and even somehow decided to play 4 square. I had forgotten how fun it is. We had so much fun we played for about 2 hours and got a great workout chasing the ball and moving fast. Genicey will probably be teaching her friends at school today.

Cade plays Drums

Cade is such a fun boy. He LOVES Music. We usually catch him dancing away to his favorite song, but today he was making his own. Hey I know it's not exactly perfect but he sure had fun.

My little Easter Bunny

I took some pictures of Hailey today. She makes a darling Easter Bunny.

Easter at Firewheel...

was ok. We got to see a firetruck which Cade thought was fantastic. The line was short for this, which surprised me. What little boy doesn't like trucks? We walked around a bit, got a balloon, did a bounce house and then waited for what seemed like FOREVER to get the kids faces painted. Sad to say but that never happened. We literally waited 30 minutes and moved 5 feet. Sonic had our name on it so we left. On the way home Cade was playing with a balloon and Hailey thought it was hilarious, this was my highlight of the day.
