Breckenridge Park

It turned out to be such a nice day today so Jesse and I took the kids to Breckenridge Park. We had a wonderful time playing with the children and exploring. We swang. We slid. We picnicked. We did cartwheels. We even saw some wildlife. I love how kids bring out the inner child in their parents.

Jesse made and painted a desk for Genicey, then set up a computer for her in HER ROOM! Genicey had no idea he was going to. She was so surprised and excited. It will be a great spot for her to do her homework and play her cds. :)

15 seconds of fame

A few weeks ago I took Cade and Hailey to see Disney on Ice with some friends. On the way out we noticed they were filming the midday news. We stopped to watch for a second and they panned out to us, so we go to be on the new waving with friends. It was also being broadcast on the jumbo tron at Victory Park so one of our friends, Brad, took a picture of all of us.

Happy Easter

First off I just want to say...Thank you Jesus for all you have done for us. What an amazing sacrifice! Unconditional love..... We have had a wonderful Easter Holiday. We had a fabulous sermon today as usual. We were joined by Jesse's parents and some wonderful friends of ours, The Lackey family. We then had family over for a late lunch. It wasn't supposed to be a late lunch but we had a situation with the ham, however everything turned out perfect. Coffee, Cake, and Egg hunting finished off the afternoon.

Date Night

Jesse and I had a great date last night. I love those moments when we simply enjoy being together. We went to Babe's Chicken Restaurant, which if you haven't been you must go! It is absolutely delicious! Then we rented a movie and just hung out together.
It was wonderful. Never stop dating your spouse.

Easter Fun with The Seawrights

My mom is going out of town on Easter weekend, so last Sunday we went to visit and celebrate. It was a beautiful day and the kids enjoyed hunting for eggs. Then the neighbor let us borrow his paddle boat and the kids got to ride out on the pond. It was so fun to watch them! Great memories!

Easter Egg Stampede

After the Parade there was an Easter Egg Hunt in Sachse, but I would really call it a STAMPEDE! It was maddness! Not enough organization and too many kids. On the plus side, the kids managed to get some eggs and of course were happy wo have some candy.

Cade looked so grown up in the Baseball Parade. His team "Orange Crush" is ready for a great season! Jesse is Asst. Coaching this year too!
