Marriage

My pastor has been doing a series on marriage that I have learned a lot from. Jesse and I have a great marriage. We have been through a lot together, but there is always stuff to learn or to remember by someone else saying it.I have loved going the past few weeks, and just wanted to share the link of videos with you in case you get the chance or desire to look at them.

My children....

Genicey is growing up so much. It's so neat to take a step back and just watch her. She is brilliant socially. She cares about everyone she meets and genuinely cares about their feelings. She is a little mother to her younger siblings which they love and hate all at the same time. She is very into Hannah Montana, Miley Cryus and Taylor Swift right now. She reminds me of my sister Jessica and I when we were that age. She dresses up "cool" and sings along to her music for hours. She such a GIRL in some ways...She loves jewelry, glitter and anything that shines. She isn't too girlly to have fun with the boys either though. She will race, play batman and Lego's with the best of them. I look at her and remember the baby she once was and realize I have loved her for different reasons at each stage in her life, but that it just keeps getting better.

Cade has an amazing imagination. He has an imaginary friend named Mousy that follows him wherever he goes. He can also make just about anything into a weapon to kill the bad guys and protect me or his sisters. It's so fun to have a boy and to see the world through his eyes. He thanks so differently than my girls. He can be amazingly sweet natured too. He will unexpectedly come up and give me a kiss or tell me that I'm pretty. He spontaneously tells Genicey he loves her and he watches out for Hailey when other kids are around. I love to hear him tell me stories, they are always all over the place and have lots of wow factor.

Hailey is my strong force. She is independent and into everything. She has a confidence that cannot be taught and she thinks she can do anything her siblings can do. I think she will go far in this world with her determination. She is starting to communicate with words and I thinks it's funny that "stop" is already one of them. She loves to eat and is happiest when she has a full belly. She is also into music and will get onto the coffee table and dance for everyone.

It's hard with three children to give them the attention that they need. I feel like sometimes one of them misses out because life is busy with three kids, but I am so glad I have each of them. They have taught me so much about life. They teach me to slow down and appreciate the beauty of a butterfly, or the happiness of dancing to my favorite song. I have also learned to truly appreciate my parents and all the ups and downs they went through raising my sister and I. My children truly are a gift from God and I just wanted to take a moment to enjoy them for that.
