GREAT WEEKEND!

What a great weekend.... FIRST OFF>>>>Hailey started crawling, FORWARDS! She hasn't mastered it yet, but she was really doing it! I was so excited and proud.
Saturday Jesse and I went out on a Date. He took me to Blue Fish in North Dallas and it was AMAZING. I was SO surprised as he said he'd never eat sushi and then here we were getting a Sushi Boat at a place he had never been. I was VERY impressed and very excited. We tried Sake' for the first time, its kind of like a watered down vodka water wine taste I think. Very mild. WE tried all kinds of sushi and really enjoyed each other's company. The waiter thought it was our first date! He asked me if Jess passed! I took that as a good sign. I love that Jesse and I still have so much fun together after 7 and a half years since our actual first date. HE still amazes me. We went to a movie after and it was pretty good. I can tell Im getting old though because it was a late movie and by the end I was fighting sleep!

Sunday afternoon we went to Jesse's mom's house and swam our hearts out. We had so much fun as a big family. Jesse's brother, wife and neice were there and his mom and dad of course.It was so much fun as it was a beautiful day, we had cold beer, cheeseburgers, pool games and great people. I so needed a weekend like this and Im so grateful it went so well.

Mother's Day

My Mother's Day was wonderful. Jesse took his Mom, my Mom and myself to dinner Friday night. We went to Texas De Brazil and the food was wonderful! My mom was really impressed and will probably take my Dad there for Father's Day. That was just the beginning though...
On Saturday Jesse took my car to "run errands" and came back with a new cd player in it! My factory one wasn't working very well and tended to get stuck at random moments...usually when Kids Music was on. This new one is great, I can use my ipod with it and it has HD radio and alot of other functions I haven't figured out yet:) It even changes color.
Then on Sunday Jesse got up early and went to the store. He let me sleep until 8:30 and then brought me breakfast in BED! He really went all out too, it was a huge breakfast with all my favorites and by the time I was through I was in a great mood. (Im always happy with a full belly:) The kids hopped into bed with me and we opened my presents from them. Genicey made me somethings at school which were darling. She is such a sweet girl. They also got me MarioKart for the wii. My Mom, Dad, and sister came over for dinner and we all got to try it out. What a great weekend.

The walk

I decided on Monday morning I was going to do a 30 Day Workout. The rules are simple I must work out at least 30 minutes everyday for the next 30 days. In keeping with this healthy idea we decided to add a Family walk to the day after dinner. We went to Renner Park and man was it muddy and full of water everywhere. We walked a good ways and got the strollers super muddy. Jesse and the kids could have cared less though. I was a little cranky about it as we all had to get back in my car on the way home, but finally I decided "if you can't beat em join em" so that's exactly what I did. When our walk was done we went down a runoff thing full of water and had a blast. By the time we got back in the car the kids were soaked and I was driving home barefoot. Here are a few pictures from our adventures. (BTW Hailey actually slept though some of this which was amazing as the walk was super bumpy! That kid amazes me:)
